Review : Bigger isn't always better
So, coming on to review this I found out about the recall (which, sadly, I am affected by. will update if there are any problems with the recall process, customer service, etc.) Another benefit to amazon reviews!
The basis of my review is this: it's a great blender. I use it at least 2 and often 4-5 times per day. BUT: the 750 has a bigger container base than most Vitamix blenders, and consequently, I have to double a lot of recipes because the base is too large to get a good mix on 1c of nuts - while smoothies are not a problem, lots of dressings, kale chip toppings, nut cheese recipes are... it's not awful to have to make twice as much, but it is significant and makes me wish I had not gone for the 'big guns.' I'm not always feeding an army, hence only 4 stars.
If, for this recall, they gave me the option, I'd get a 4-, 5- or 6- model (alas, I'd have to dedicate another day to reading reviews!), but in general, I am very happy with the luscious smoothies, soups...
